Sono del 1974, ottima annata, figlio della crisi energetica, bilancia ascendente bilancia, segnato fin dalla nascita... I primi accordi in gioventù con una chitarra classica e un canzoniere, che poi sono rimasti chiusi nell'armadio per lunghissimo tempo ma la brace sotto sotto non hai smesso di ardere.
Così da grandicello riprendo a studiare solfeggio (do-o-o-o-o-o-oooo re-e-e-e-e-eee...) e riabbraccio le sei corde, affidandomi al grande maestro Giorgio Torti per scoprire le vie del lato oscuro delle pentatoniche. Il Blues è stata una forlgorazione, cresciuto (e pure parecchio crescito direi) a pane e rock, quando suonavo veniva solo blues. Quasi dieci anni fa un grande amico mi ha trascinato in un locale di Toronto, ha ordinato una caraffa di birra canadese e ci siamo seduti al bancone. Jeff Healey suonava con la sua band. Poi il suo discepolo Philip Sayce ha attaccato con Little Wing. Poi non c'è stato più niente da fare. Ho incontrato la BRB per ultimo, ora mi devono spostare di peso. Poveri loro.

I was born in 1974, great vintage, son of the energetic crisis, libra ascending libra, signed from the birth... The first chords in youth with a classical guitar and a handy italian songbook, suddently closed into the closet for a maybe too long time but the fire underneath never stopped burning.
So I found myself being not so young starting over to study solfege again and embraces the six strings, appointing me to the great master Giorgio Torti to discover the ways of the dark side of the pentatonic. The Blues was a shock, grew up (and even a lot I would say) on bread and rock, when playing it come out blues only. Almost ten years ago a great friend of mine dragged me to a bar in Toronto, Canada. He ordered a cup of beer and we sat at the bar. Jeff Healey was playing with his band. Then his disciple Philip Sayce started Little Wing. Then there was nothing else to do.
